Online event booking platform BookEventz raises funding from Mumbai Angels, others

Online event booking platform BookEventz has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in an angel round led by Mumbai Angels with Girish Mathrubootham and Anbu Pandian (PanZeea Solutions) and other investors on LetsVenture. BookEventz was founded in 2012 and aims to be a one­-stop portal, to cater all event-­related services. Formerly known as Urbanrestro, BookEventz claims to have served more than 73,000 event enquiries, booked over 5000 events with GMV of over INR 50 crore.

TailsLife, a mobile application that address pet parent’s’ needs, has raised an undisclosed amount of angel funding in a round led by Mohan Kumar, Executive Director Norwest Ventures Partners India and LetsVenture’s V Balakrishnan.  The startup aims at making pet parenting easier and happier by providing content specific to the breed and age of pet and easier access to vet, grooming and boarding services.

Health-tech startup THB raises funding from Currae Healthtech Fund, others

Clinical research and data analytics company THB has closed a seed funding round led by former executive of Nokia Ajith Sukumaran and Apoorva Patni-led early stage fund Currae Healthtech Fund. The funding will be utilized to expand technology, data science and clinical teams.
