Delhi-based digital media firm Rusk Media has raised undisclosed seed round from InfoEdge Venture Fund, Sprout Venture Partners, Survam Partners, and an undisclosed institutional investor aided by ValPro’sstartup advisory vertical, Enablers.
Rusk Media creates video content across genres such as fiction, music, lifestyle and technology, targeting Gen-Z and millennial smartphone audiences. It owns four content brands – Alright, Hattke, Recharge, and LIT – which clock viewership across social platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok among others. It is also engaged in monetisation of content through brand sponsorship in lieu of product placement or product integration, which helps brands achieve better reach while also creating original content for over-the-top (OTT) platforms.
The company shall deploy the funds to build distinctive digital entertainment solutions by bolstering video production and custom content capabilities.
