Bangalore-based healthcare and fitness start-up, CureFit has acquired online health-food delivery company, Kristys Kitchen for an undisclosed amount of cash and stock deal. Kristys Kitchen is in the segment of preparing and delivery of international healthy food cuisines. Founded in September 2016, the company has a kitchen in Bangalore and claims to be operationally cash positive and servicing over 250 orders a day.
SeenIt Online Pvt Ltd, a Kolkata-based startup that operates artificial intelligence-powered fashion search platform SeenIt, has raised an undisclosed amount in pre-Series A funding from Calcutta Angels Network (CAN) and Augment Ventures. Founded in April 2015 SeenIt helps consumers find items they love but don’t know where to get.
Hospitality management services startup Hostmaker has raised Series A funding led by Paris-based venture capital fund Ventech and existing investor DN Capital. The round also saw the participation of DSG Consumer Partners. The funding will be utlized to strengthen Hostmaker’s operations in existing market along with develop its proprietary pricing algorithm and in-house yield experts.
Inter-city cab rental platform MyTaxiIndia Pvt Ltd has raised an undisclosed amount from a Dubai, UAE-based investor to expand its operations. MyTaxiIndia, which is currently present in 200 cities, is looking to roll out its offerings in the North-East, as well as in tier I and tier II cities in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Delhi-based VDSS Agri Tech Pvt Ltd, which owns and operates agri-tech startup Paalak, has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from a clutch of angel investors as it looks to expand and strengthen its IT infrastructure. The funding will be utilized to develop a new consumer web platform and an Android app, apart from expanding its team and adding more collection centres across villages.
