User analytics and engagement platform MoEngage, run by MoEngage India Pvt Ltd, has raised an undisclosed investment from Facebook executive Anand Chandrasekaran. The MoEngage platform helps internet companies deliver personalised interactions via push notifications, in-app recommendations, email, web-push and other communication channels, driving engagement.
Indore-based discount broking company TradingBells has raised INR 2 Crore in a Seed Funding round led by Mumbai-based stock broker Swastika Investmart Ltd. The funding will be utilized for hiring talent, expanding office infrastructure, technology up gradation, and customer acquisition.
Bright Lifecare, which owns and operates online pharmacy platform 1mg, has acquired Mumbai-based MediAngels, for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition marks the Sequoia Capital-backed company’s entry into the lucrative super speciality consultations, corporate health services and insurance partnerships.
Mumbai-based digital entertainment startup Pocket Aces has raised $3 million (about Rs 20 crore) in a funding round that was led by venture capital firm Sequoia Capital India and included North Base Media, Aarin Capital, Axilor Ventures and Freecharge founders Kunal Shah and Sandeep Tandon. The company has already built a subscriber base of over 1.85 million across its online platforms called Dice (web series, sketches), FilterCopy (short form content) and Gobble (focusing on food).
Infosys Ltd, India’s second-largest software services exporter has invested in homegrown drone maker ideaForge Technology Pvt Ltd. The investment was made from the Innovation Fund in a stock-exchange filing. ideaForge has built Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) that have been widely deployed by the Indian armed forces for surveillance, crowd monitoring and rescue operations.
