Noida-based digital healthcare company Sidqam Technologies has raised seed funding led by SQue Capital, a Mumbai-based investment firm. Grace Capital Ventures and Soham Vencaps, the family fund of the realestate company Soham Group also participated in the round. The funding will be utilized to expand services beyond the NCR market, where it currently operates and for marketing visibility.
Infuse Ventures, an early-stage sustainability and clean-tech fund associated with IIM Ahmedabad’s tech incubator Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) along with Ankur Capital has invested an undisclosed amount in a Series-A funding round in cold chain technology company TESSOL. The funding will be utilized to expand sales and service network across India and create more products.
Pulse, a social networking app that enables users to stay connected with their college or school communities, has raised $500,000 in funding from venture and growth capital fund SAIF Partners.The funding will be utilized to expand presence to cities such as Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Manipal, Chennai and Hyderabad, and ramp up technology team.
Machine learning startup Entropik Technologies Pvt Ltd, which recognises emotions to help companies understand consumer behaviour, has raised $200,000 from two individual investors.The startup raised the funding from Dileep Bhatt, president of downstream operations at JSW Steel Ltd, and Milind Chaudhary, director of Sea Global Services Pvt. Ltd. The funding will be utilized for research to build technology and infrastructure, and bring on board clients for its software-as-a-service product for businesses.
Venture capital firm Accel Partners has raised $450 million under a new fund to make seed and early-stage investments in Indian startups. The new capital will be dedicated exclusively to invest in seed and early stage startups in the country.
