PurpleDocs, an healthcare records management startup from Vadodara, with more than 60 hospitals as customers across Gujarat, has raised investment from KellyGamma, Lead Angels and few other HNIs from healthcare world. The funding will be utilized for expansion of operations outside Gujarat and for further investment in proprietary technology platform

Online furniture and home decor marketplace Pepperfry has raised INR 210 Crore as part of a new round of funding from existing investors Goldman Sachs, Norwest Venture Partners, Bertelsmann India Investments and Zodius Technology Fund. The Mumbai-based company — founded by former eBay executives Ambareesh Murty and Ashish Shah — could also raise a further Rs 150 crore to Rs 200 crore in the next four weeks from a new set of investors.
