The funding will be utilized to power the technology infrastructure of EnglishEdge and to offer personalised language learning lessons to consumers.

NewsDistill, a city-based news aggregator app has raised USD 100,000 in seed funding from a group of investors including Ganesh Narasimhan, Ramana Thumu, and Sudhir Mallem. Launched in 2015, NewsDistill aggregates news sourced from various Indian newspapers, television channels, RSS feeds, custom feeds and social media in eight major Indian languages besides English.
Doctor Insta Pvt Ltd, which provides healthcare consultation through video conferencing, has received over $1 million from US-based venture capital firm RoundGlass Partners. The funding will be utilized for marketing two new concepts—Health ATM and Insta Wall. The startup is planning to spend around INR 20 crore on these two concepts over the next 18 months.
