Ola in talks with SoftBank, others to raise fresh funds

Fashion brand FabAlley raises Series-A funding

High street fashion brand FabAlley has raised INR 13 Crore ($2 million) in a Series-A round led by Mumbai-based India Quotient. The round also saw participation from existing investors including IAN, social entrepreneur Ranjan Sharma and a clutch of angel investors.

Campsite aggregation platform Deyor Camps raises funds from clutch of investors

Gurgaon-based Deyor Adventures Pvt Ltd, which runs and operates campsite aggregator Deyor Camps, has raised $500,000 in funding from early-stage investment firm Udaan Angel Partners and angle investors such as Nitin Passi, Manickam Mahalingam and Rajesh Arora, and Arkas Industries. The startup claims to have sent 10,000 people for camping during its first quarter of operations, which started in early March.

Internet based TV streaming service provider Yupp TV secures $50 Million in Series B Funding

Internet-based TV streaming service provider Yupp TV has secured $50 Million in a Series B round of funding. The investment was led by Emerald Media for a minority stake in the company.Emerald Media is a pan-asian platform established by global investment firm KKR. It aims to invest in the fast-growing media and entertainment industries across Asia for which KKR has committed up to $300 Mn from its KKR Asian Fund II.

Healthcare startup DocSynk raises $1 Million seed funding From Naya Ventures

Hyderabad based Naya Ventures has invested $1 Mn in a Seed round of Funding in Dallas based healthtech startup DocSynk. DocSynk aims to find solutions for problems such as finding doctors, scheduling appointments, keeping on top of insurance, and complying with wellness and treatment plans.
