Zarget, a startup that provides various web optimization solutions as software as a service (SaaS) to enterprises, has raised $6 million (about INR 40 crore) in a round of funding led by venture capital firm Sequoia India. The funding will be utilized to scale marketing automation products and help small businesses optimize their web presence in real time.
BroEx, a mobile-based property brokers network, has acquired real estate technology startup REXPROP for an undisclosed amount to expand business and provide better products to its clients. Gurgaon-based REXPROP or ‘Real Estate Property Exchange’ is a startup which offers solutions such as inventory distribution, broker to broker listings and CRM for property consultants, agents, brokers and developers.
Mobile-based laundry services startup PickMyLaundry has raised $200,000 in the first tranche of its pre-Series A funding round led by angel investor Kedar Lele. Existing investor GHV Accelerator also participated in this round by investing $100,000. The funding will be utilized to expand services in the entire NCR (National Capital Region) and other tier I cities.
Enterprise software maker Freshdesk has raised $55 million in a new round of funding led by Sequoia Capital India, along with existing investor, Accel Partners. Founded in October 2010, Freshdesk is one of the first software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies from India to take on the global market. Its helpdesk software can be used by customer support agents from around the world on various channels like email, phone and social media.
Business intelligence and data science company Impact Analytics has raised $750,000 led by early-stage venture capital firm Aarin Capital, which was founded by TV Mohandas Pai and Dr Ranjan Pai. The company provides analytics solutions across sectors including retail, financial services, education, pharma and others.
