Singapore-headquartered and Delhi-based data analytics firm Connaizen has raised an undisclosed amount from Vikram Sud, former Asia Pacific O&T head at Citigroup and ex-group COO of Kotak Mahindra Group. Founded in 2015, Connaizen provides targeted marketing solutions to merchants through its collaboration with financial institutions.
Nurturey, a mobile app for parents, has raised over $330,000 in angel funding from a group of investors including Mohit Joshi, a president at Infosys Ltd. The funds will assist the organisation in developing new features that will make the application a more intelligent personal assistant for parents.

Bengaluru-based Flutura Business Solutions, an IoT (Internet of Things) focused data analytics firm, has raised INR 50 crore in a fresh round of funding led by Vertex Ventures, the venture capital arm of Singapore Government’s investment company Temasek Holdings. Flutura specialises in decision analytics for the energy and engineering sector, leveraging the industrial IoT technology and counts Henkel, Siemens, and Philips Solar among its clients.The funding will be utilized for global expansion.
Exchange operator Nasdaq Inc plans to set up a venture capital arm to invest in financial technology companies that can help grow its own businesses. Nasdaq is best known for running stock exchanges around the globe, but it is also one of the largest providers of technology to other exchanges and companies involved with trading.
