In order to streamline the process of seeking traditional debt, Temasek-backed venture debt firm InnoVen Capital has formed a syndicate of banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) including IndusInd, RBL Bank, Standard Chartered, Tata Capital and SIDBI to extend credit to its clients.
Mumbai based fashion portal Fynd, run by Shopsense Technologies Pvt Ltd, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Facebook executive Anand Chandrasekaran. Rajiv Mehta, chief executive of Arvind SportsLifestyle and Ramakant Sharma, co-founder of Livspace, also participated in the round. Founded in 2013 the startup sources products directly from nearby outlets and takes four to 24 hours to deliver the order.
Gurgaon-based GreyHair Ventures Pvt Ltd, which runs car servicing and repair startup VOW CarClinic, has raised an undisclosed amount of angel funding from Vishal Malik, founder and director of IT services firm Gemini Solutions and a group of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi alumni. Founded in early 2016 the startup is a marketplace for car servicing and repair needs in the online-to-offline consumer internet space.
TempoGO, an IoT and SaaS-based solutions provider for commercial transportation, has raised $825,000 in its seed round led by Hong Kong-based K2 Investments and a few high profile investment bankers. The funding will be utilized for upgradation of technology and hiring more professionals.
Learntron, a learning-productivity tech startup, raised an undisclosed amount from Kae Capital, a venture capital firm that focuses on seed-stage investment. The Chennai-based startup’s customers include companies and educational institutions.
