Consumer-focused venture capital firm Sixth Sense Ventures has picked up around 16% stake in Hindustan Foods Ltd (HFL), a public-listed company for INR 8 crore. HFL which is owned by Vanity Case Group and Dempo group of Goa, makes PepsiCo Inc’s Kurkure snack brand. The company also manufactures foods for brands like Farex, Easum and First Food (Danone).
