Singapore-based early-stage investor Jungle Ventures, which has Tata Sons Ltd’s interim chairman Ratan Tata as an adviser, has closed its second venture fund at $100 million. The new fund will primarily invest in Series A and Series B rounds in tech startups in Southeast Asia. It will also look at opportunities in India and Australia for companies that can benefit from expansion into Southeast Asia.

Vendor collaboration platform TheVetted has raised about $500,000 in seed funding from early-stage investment firm Kae Capital and other investors. Angel investor and former Facebook general counsel Rudy Gadre and a few serial entrepreneurs in the US also participated in this round. TheVetted, run by California-based Vetted Inc, removes friction in business-to-business (B2B) investments by automating supplier management for large enterprises.
